wel, went last Sat. to have the inspection/emissions test done before taking the CSVT back to St. Louis. I dont know which code #'s were tripped, just the Diag. read out.. says bank 1 & Bank 2 cam sensor failure codes & bank1 top o2 sensor.

I had a bout of bad gas causing lots of mid-range light detonation about 2 weeks prior to the inspection & the CEL came on & then went off so "no worries" I figured I knew of the bad gas... well the night before the inspection I cleader the codes (so I thought)& took her in.. they did their little test & the CEL came back on with hard codes only...

Do I really have 2 bad Cam Position sensors? im not worried about replacing them, but won't if I should be chasing something else. the 02's are a no brainer.. I'll do all of them at once..

thanks

For Camshaft sensor. Code P0340, the one in yellow.

Unscrew one bolt, pull out sensor, screw in bolt!

For Bank 1 Upper O2 sensor a little harder. Don't change all the O2 sensors if you don't need to.

Edit. Bank 1 Upper O2 sensor
