That's, compOSITE input. Component video is the Y/Cr/Cb set.
I haven't seen too many LAPTOP's with video in; just video out (via s-video or composite). Even if there are models that have video in, it's not like you could just plug it in and go as if it were a portable monitor. You'd still have to boot an OS with driver support and fire up a video app to handle the signal. And, it probably wouldn't be pretty.
