A seatbelt saved my life when my bro smashed us head on into a telephone pole 1/4 mile from my house in our '93 Grand Prix. I always wore my seatbelt before that, but it's even more prevelant, no one rides in my car without a seatbelt on, or they don't ride. I don't get people who don't wear them, and I especially don't get it just because they're in an SUV. SUV's are the most dangerous vehicles on the road! Their high narrow stance makes them especially prone to roll-over, and yet people consider them safe. Also, from what I've read, in the early 90's when SUV's went from offroad vehicle to "family car" auto manufacturers removed the roof roll-bar, making them even more dangerous! IIRC I read when doing a report on them that in 2002 there were 11,000 deaths in the US due to roll-over in accidents, and SUV's accounted for 61% of those deaths!

Anyway, I hope if I ever get in an accident, someone like you is around to help me.
