Brad was exactly correct in what he stated.
You need to use a plastic/vinyl prep to draw all the oils out before spraying it. the hardest part of the project will be pulling the dash out of the vehicle. It will be a major pain in the ass! Other than that the project will be pretty easy. SEMS also makes vinyl dyes that work pretty well.
