My brother in law just ran a 10.08 @ 147 in his first gen talon. www.dsmotorsport.com At 147 the car should be running hi-mid nines. He is hoping to get a 9.XX this friday before the car gets parted out. Its amazing the power they pull out of those little 4 bangers. I drove his evo the other day which runs bottom 11's (his daily driver). The thing is nuckin futs. Actually Shep's AWD Talon is tagged and registered so it is streetable - not street legal but streetable. As far as the track, the track is straight. There is a dip after the 1/4 mile mark but before that it's straight. 99 Contour SVT needs a little lovin'
