I would definately go with a P-M over a P4 or Celeron-M for sure. I use overclocked P-M's in all my desktop systems and they absolutely fly. My P-M 745 (1.8Ghz) overclocked to 2.8Ghz (18x155) outperforms just about any P4 and even the FX-55 in any benchmark I have put it through.
