Colorado is an awesome place. We have car club meetings in Denver every other month and mountain runs are unreal fun. I hope you get the job, it would be nice to add to the ranks of the CO CEG. Good luck . . .

I would help with the ride but I am in the Springs and moving this week. Sorry -B.

Mountain biking, road biking, skiing, boarding, white water whatever, climbing, hiking, fly fishing, canyon driving ( thats one thing I will always miss when I leave), you name it. A very outdoor sports going community around these parts.

Well fellas, I am back near a computer. The Denver leg of my trip went very well. It was short but got the job done I guess you could say. I dont know how much background I have given about the company I was interviewing with, but basically they just hired a designer a month ago and this visit was more about future opportunities and not exactly an immediate job. Anyhow, the interview/visit started around 10:30, for about 30 minutes it was just getting to the know company, how they work, what the do and what the will be doing in the future. There was then a phone meeting that happened with DC Shoes that I sat in on. Then came lunch where the lead designer and I walked to a nearby cafe called Ink. The portfolio was shown there. That went very well. Then came back to meet the rest of the crew and said our goodbyes with tentative plans to get drinks that night. I met up with Mike, the lead designer and is girlfriend at a small bar called Paris something or other. That was nice. I had almost flaked out on him, well I did and then he called me back telling me I could flake on him and thats how we ended up at Paris. Throughout the day I guess I wanst giving him the impression that I wanted to work for Boa. He called me out on this, however, a little awkward, I told him and cleared things up. I wanted to work for this company. In leaving, Mike told me, "If you want to move out to Denver, and want to work for Boa we will make room for you." !!! So thats that, and he zoomed away on his Ducati Monster, while his girlfriend took me home in her 2004 328i. THE END, now its just time to make my decision and let him know it.
