These pics almost didn't happen to begin with because of the all the rain that came in yesterday morning. We actually started to head home and just had to check out the GM display and when we did, the rain had let up some and eventually stopped....for a while. So heres some pics from the cruize, enjoy!

This car was loaned out by a certain "late night" host, can you guess who owns this 1150 hp, urrr, 700 hp true street sleeper



It took me 3 years to get a pic of this car, but it finally happened, only at the WDC can you see such things!

The first "superVette", 1990 ZR1

If you wanna really know how to tell a real ZR1, well, look for the emblem that goes on the wide rearend of the this Vette! Only that and the deep rear centercaps will tell you for sure, but the rear wheels must tuck into the wheelwells as some have tried adding just the rear wheels and emblems. You see, rice is everywhere, but not here!

Once again, the HOLY GRAIL!

To close out the GM pics, heres my buddys lowered Colorodo. Its debagged, windows tinted, painted mirrors/door handles and has a custom bowtie in the front (not pictured) He also served our country over in Iraq for 1 year, so much respect!

The first 300 car, 1955 and yes, its got a Hemi!



This doesn't have a Hemi, but it looks to be ready for production and I hear its a hybrid perf car. An oxy-moron, yes, but its their answer to the Solstice/Sky and Miatas of the world

So Chevy has the SS Trailblazer coming out w/ 397 hp and Ford has, ummm, urrr, so Mopar didn't want to get caught "with their pants down", so they offer up this!

Every car has a story, so I'll try and be brief on this one. You may or may not have seen that dork Dennis Gage feature this car on this show in the past. Its called "The Silver Bullet". Yes, its got a Hemi, but one tweaked from the engineers back in the day. It was taken out on Woodward back in the day and never lost a race. Its been dyno'd at 650 hp, has 4 mufflers to "keep it quiet" and runs a 10.30 @ 135mph. Truely, a legend of legends!

All things considered though, it was a nice cruize, even with the off and on rain showers. It was kinda nice to be able to drive from site to site and take in all the manufactures had to offer. I'm looking forward to next year and I can say this now, Comerica Bank is where we can all park, together w/o a problem

Man I did so much walking and missed so much. Must get spot by 13 mile next year.

Did they tell you "Jay's" car was broken. I guess carbon fiber is not indusdructible .

Oh Roger thats SSR not HHR. How could you confuse the two .

Another great year, and as usual it rains,but as usual it clears up quick and ends beng real nice.
