No offense, but why make an unsellable 2-door Contour when you could just buy a Mustang and get plenty of power to go with 2 doors?

Why not put in seats from a Cougar instead? They'd most likely be a direct bolt-in (same platform), and tilt forward too.

This seems totally pointless seeing as he's basically do the equivalent of removing the rear door handles. Bondo'ing the rear door seams and calling it a 2-door is like putting those gay vertical door hinges on a car and calling it a Lamborghini. Sorry but this seems like a stupid idea to me. Not to mention that your back seat is basicall unaccesible now and unusable by anything other than a dog that can jump over the center console armrest to get back there. If the front doors had be lengthened another foot or so, then I would change my mind. But THIS project is just silly.

I agree with Stazi. Either the front doors need to be lengthened,or the whole car needs to be shortened.
I'm sure some Cougar doors will fit with some bodywork and customizing and come out pretty nice.

I totally agree with you guys. But wouldnt it just be easier and make more sense just to get a cougar... Or a Focus and drop the v6 in it? If you go with the cougar you get more fun interior options. Just my thought.
I applaud your effort however.

Nah,because Contours kick ass.
Personally,I'd take a Contour over a Cougar or Focus any day. But I'm very, very biased....

I think it will look weird. I think you should strip the rear and have two 12s or 14s facing the front. What's the point of seats back there?
