When I started this project i knew one of my goals was to make 200hp to the wheels. Thanks to cam at lightspeed innovations in Red Deer Alberta he made it happen for me. 205hp @6500 and 180lb/ft @4250. I was tickled pink with the number considering my only mod on the 3l is the KKM. We made a total of 6 runs and I made clear that i wanted a very safe tune. He did some baseline changes before my first run and we got 202hp right off the bat. The other runs were spent putting as much power under the curve as we could. When all the dust settled it was time to go for a ride. I am really happy with the swap, the torque makes all the difference and it really pulls nicely from 3500 and only gets better from there. Not having the same high end pull that the 2.5 had is a bit deceiving at times but just one look at the spedo and you know for sure its faster. Although all my previous cars have been FWD this is the first with a LSD, and what a difference it makes!! Worth every penny for sure.

Dayum!! I don't think I've ever seen a torque curve that flat before. Well done & I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

My setup is SVT Cams, SVT UIM, SVT LIM, 19lb's, 2003 taurus oval port heads with some DIY porting. That torque curve is all tuning, The RPM point when the butterflys open is down a bit and that worked well.

It looks like you still have the stock exhaust. I bet a good catback would make a good gain in hp.

Very Nice! Looks like you've done a really thorough job on selecting your mods too! Over 200 HP and no extra work on the intakes or heads right? That's a good return on investment there.
OH Damn...get some headers and a better exhaust, at least a 2.5" or better yet true duals when the time comes.

I did do the porting. I had to move the injector holes over to use the SVT LIM so while I was at it I just used the gaskets as a template and started grinding. But I sure as hell wouldn't have attempted it without DemonSVT's page. It really gave me a good idea of how much to take away. I used an air grinder and some good quality grinding bits and went at it. It sure wasn't perfect or beautiful but I really think it made some HP. One thing about doing the porting myself was how much work it was. I really took my time making sure I didn't' take too much off but still it was hours and hours of grinding and polishing.
