I finished installing a B&M sport shifter on my '00 CSVT (part #45086). The instructions were clear and fairly easy to follow. The hour was a bit optimistic. The most challenging piece is getting the spring assembly and retaining clip back in. B&M does inlcude a new retaining clip (called an OEM retaining clip). They say to be very careful taking it off. Of course I broke it but but thought no big deal, they provided another. However putting it back on is just as challenging. It has seven fingers and broke at least two getting it back on. If you need one (may want to get it before you start) the Ford part number is YS4Z-7K453-FA. My dealer charged me $16 bucks for it. By the way they'll find as a 2002 2.0L Focus part. For Contours they only sell the complete shifter assembly.
