Wow. Yeah I can imagine that a cut steeda would have the shortest throw of them all and as long as the effort wouldn't be too high then it would be awesome. I could imagine 4" shifts.
Makes me want to think about cutting mine.

Can we re-make the point that there are no short shifter options for pre-98s (other than cutting your own)? To my knowledge, no one has designed one for the rod shifter.
