I've heard nothing but good things about them, from very serious drivers. OTOH, I would get snow tires for the 15s in stock size, and Fuzion ZRis in 225/50R16 (would be great on E1s) or 225/45R17 on some of the 17s that are always for sale (often cheap) in the classifieds. It's a bigger investment, but you get great grip and looks year-round. Plus you wear through tires slower, so the long-term cost is only the second set of wheels. And, your car is much safer in the winter. Ziex are nothing close to a real snow tire, so if you live where you have to drive in the white stuff very much I'd do the two sets. But like I said, Ziex are good tires, so if cash flow is a problem (when isn't it!), you won't be dissapointed with them.
