I didn't have a problem with mine at all. Then again, I replaced the entire EGR system at the same time and cleaned the IAC while the piping was out.

Oh yeah, and since nobody has mentioned it yet... FRIKIN' TYPE BETTER please.

listen i already stated that i cant type good and have bad grammar if you dont like it go to russia. i appreciate everyones help the contour class vehicle has given me the most fixable problems ever in my life. tonight im going to swap out my iac see if that helps any. i was thinking about not changing the iac but i can afford and im up to the challenge. the car started acting up even more after i clean the iac maybe the seal busted or something but im going to change that tonight. yeah the error codes that were given are the same ones described here. i have bosch o2 sensors i always try to get the highest quality parts for my car usually im not on a budget thank god.

You should clean the MAF first. Why mess with the IAC first when it appears that the MAF could be the culprit?

I've been trying not post on this thread, but it just keeps hanging in there.

A shop owner a few years ago was telling me how bad a piece of equipment that he bought was. It was very undependable. He was constantly calling for repair.

His words were "It's just like my wife, one week out of the month it is of no earthly use to me".

i have cleaned the maf several times with all kinds of electrical cleaner non residue leaving cleaner.

i changed the iac now the hesitation on the freeway ended she takes of good but the rought idle is still there and when i turn on my ac and im stoped at a light my belt squeaks like crazy i still have a cel code. im going to autoho this thursday.

Belt or tensioner could be the problem.
