well, seeing how demon is comparing it to powershifting...Powershifting is basically shifting without ever taking your foot off the gas. You'll smoke your clutch eventually, but it makes it easier than having actual driving skill i guess.

I'm not sure what the differences are between that and "rev matching" but obviously we are not talking rev matching in it's most common application.
