Rev matching is good for longer life on syncros. There is no need to revmatch in drag racing. Revmatching does nothing for racing, other than align your transmission and engine revs so they are aligned, and the syncros helps this alignment. If they are not alighned the sryncros help aligh this, therefore the more out of rev your trans is to your engine, then more your making your syncros work to align them both!!

Who told u this. If you search in the transmission section i swear i saw a video some one posted about different shifting. from double clutching, to single clutch to to revmatching etc!!
