politely excuse himself to do what....he was thousands of miles away from where the attacks were taking place....what good would it have done to just excuse himself????then you liberals would have said he just rudely stopped reading to the poor children and just walked off...
but i guess if clinton was in that position...he would have donned his red cape and flown off to stop the attacks..
