And the problem with that is??
If I recall correctly, our 8 years with a liberal at power were really good. Gas was affordable, we weren't invading countries left and right, and the economy was brisk. Unfortunately, those 8 years were sandwiched by conservative hell, in which we send soldiers to war for sometimes good cause (Afghanistan), and other times, for what seems like no reason at all (Iraq). We have no exit strategy whatever, our troops are dying left and right, and what are we gaining? Nothing. Looks like the conservatives are the ones who have something wrong with them. The fact that you can call out a liberal in this economic climate, especially when you work at a dead-end job with no future whatsoever, is laughable.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Now that was funny! Yes, Clinton was a great president, thaht's why he was impeached, that's why he turned down UBL when offered on a silver platter, etc. Gas prices have nothing to do with Bush and more wtih the [B]WORLD demand changing. For 8 years this country sat and watched the world change, now we are trying to do something to protect ourselves. Originally posted by AJ³: Originally posted by PackRat: Originally posted by Davo:

Did that affect his performance? NO!

On a silver platter? Exagerating a little, are we?

So you are telling me that demand has increased worldwide 300% since Clinton was in office, when it was relatively steady before that for a decade! HAHAHAH

What did Clinton screw up?
I wouldn't call Somalia an invasion. It was a mission.

Two words: Ronald Reagan

Please tell me what Bill Clinton did to keep gas prices affordable. And if I recall correctly, gas prices were relatively high when he was in office. While we're on the talk of liberal presidents, it is worthwhile to note that gas prices, even today, are lower than they were during parts of Jimmy Carter's presidency.

Kosovo = Left Somalia = Right Bill Clinton initiated military action against as many countries as George W. Bush. If you count lobbing missles at a Pepto Bismol factory in Sudan, he's +1.
The rest of your post was talking points, so I won't respond to that.

These weren't full-fledged wars like Bush Jr and Sr initiate. These were missions. But I guess you already know that, since you are a political phenom who happens to frequent a contour forum. I guess you need to exagerate some points once in a while to make your partisan case.

oooooh i see when your "god" invades another country(which was for reasons far less important than the war in iraq)then you call it a "mission" huh..
and btw there are lots of things done by and passed by the clinton administration that the effects were long term and now they are falling on this administration...then you liberals all whine and blame bush for things your "god" screwed up.....
are you guys really so blind as to think clinton did and can do no wrong????i mean he is a smooth talker but jeez you guys act as if he was perfect, just because he said what you wanted to hear...

The point is that Bill Clinton attacked more countries than George W. Bush. Each time was without UN approval, if I recall correctly.
This paradise of the 90s that you refer to happens to be the conditions under which terrorism festered and grew. If you can't figure that out, then I guess making atypical characters in your CEG screenname is the extent of your intellectual capacity.
Oh, and you missed this:
