As someone intimately involved in the information that goes into USN&WW I am morally bound to say that it is a good first step to identifying an institution to attend. However, the decision-making process must include #1 a visit to campus; #2 talking with students; #3 talking with alums from your major; #4 meeting your faculty.
That being said, the rankings for 2006 are out tomorrow and the guidebook hits the stands next week. Happy reading.
