so has anyone on this site evr attempted making an awd contour. i think that would make it even more fun to throw into corners. just wondering.

Holy crap, that's a great idea, no one has brought that up yet! WOO HOO!  75% of this board can barely afford to do the much needed regular mainteance let alone re-engineer the friggin chassis to even attempt put the a Jag AWD system under the car....

sorry for my sudden surge of noobness (or maybe not so sudden...)
but after searching awd i didnt find a post that explained the differences in the american fwd vs the mondeo awd platform...i.e how ford got it to work.

Lizard/Adam you should be the first to try it. Judging by that sweet aluminum wing, nite shades spray on both the rear AND front lights and black painted stock wheels the AWD should make your ride top notch kid.
