I'm just graduating from ITT in the CNS program, and for a while there it was pretty bad. The instructors didn't know the material they were teaching and they were passing students just based on attendance. But since the whole SEC raid on the corprate office in IN. they've gotten their act together, at least in two of the three chicago campuses.
We did have to complain to the administration quite a few times along the two year course. The way I see it though is I'm paying them 36,000 and I will [censored] and moan until I get what I think I deserve out of that school.
FWIW I did sign up for their bachelor's program. From the people I talked to who are enrolled currently the staff is very knowledgeable in the subject and they still work in the field. Its also alot easier for me to attend night classes and I prefer the 4 hours/day 3x a week schedule always have always will.
The reason they push attendance so hard their is in order to keep their accreditation they must keep above a certain level of students present per class per quarter. It roughly works out to 3/12 classes can be missed and if you leave before a certain time they have to mark you down as absent.
