She just told me that she is willing to spend up to $5k on a car. I said to her "do you want to buy a cheap car for like $1500,and then spend $1000 to certify it", as in my case,paid $1600 for my car and spent $1500 to certify it,or "do you want to take that $2500 you spent on a crap car and certifcation and spend it on a nice car for $2500 that needs no work?"
She chose the latter of course,seeing how she's seen all the hardships I've been through with mine in the last 3 months.
