Driving the ole contour and the A/C clutch wobbled off the car and down the road.....

Spent the weekend putting on a new A/C Compressor, Accumulator and also replaced the expansion valve. pumped down the system and used about 2.3 cans of freon. All is working great now........
95 Contour 2.5L ATX

AC Clutch disentegrated and fell off the compressor. Shocked me to be sure........I am lucky I didn't get a ticket for littering!

Wouldn't you loose your alternator and PS pump too? Not the pulleys but since the belt is on them too you'd loose function of them right?

Is there anything you cant do? Or are just brave? Since you used cans and not a 30 lb. jug I guess you don't do Hvac work for a living.
