Getting a 176 code on my '95 SE MTX and am looking to replace the O2 sensor (closest to radiator). Engine has original O2 sensors with 103K mi. so it's not surprising they might need replacing. I'm just glad it's the one in front right now.

Anyway....looking around, I see several different OE brands. Is there any one particular brand that is believed to be better than others? Prices look to be about $65-90 for single sensors depending on brand.

...and yes, the EGR passages are clean, MAF is new and the precats are non-gutted.

Moot point now....I ordered two online....Bosch brand.

Figure if one is going bad, then it won't be much longer before the other starts giving me problems; over 100K mi. now.

I have Bosch O2 sensors on mine. Only replace the one that you need to.

Replace them both since it's at 103K.

The Bosch sensors are excellent parts and will work well.
