New Construction or just remodeling? For large rooms I would recommend recessed can lights, they can be dimmed easily and are clean.

In Bathrooms - if you already have a "lightbar" above the sink and want mount something with out a lightbar, make sure when you remove it the electrical box is centered over the sink. Sometimes due to stud location it is off center with the sink and the bar covers this flaw. If you mounted the light shown on the wall it may be off center with the electrical box.

Also if you can avoid low voltage track lighting if you are mounting the track high above. I have a 19ft ceiling with pendants hanging over the fireplace with a transformer. The transformer was bad 3 times right out of the box. Needless to say if it goes bad again its going to be a real PIA to change.

If you can, recessed lighting will be better in the long run. If it's remodeling, the coolest/easiest ones are the ones that run two wires, and you clamp the lights onto the wires.

Yeah it will be a remodeling job . I will have to look into this a little more
