I put durashine on my old car once, didn't work the way it does on tv, and it didn't shine. It's basically a gel, looks nothing like any wax or polish i've ever used. What do you expect from something they tell you to apply and hose off. I do use Meguires Gold class wax, for the money, I think it's great. I'm going to start building it up on my car now that winter's coming.....

M-e-q-u-i-e-r-s cool learn it, live it, know it, love it! Now to be honest with APT CSVT I did tell him that I've done my car 20 tims this year and I'm not kidding, 20 times, its a labor of love for me. I really didn't see the "Zaino difference" and our cars were parked together and the weather was pefect cool

Sorry I'm late, what did I miss? smile

I wish I could've made the trip and shown you the Z-shine. I've got 6 coats on and may just get #7 on tomorrow. I have seen so many black trucks & cars shine like nothing I have ever seen that I don't see how I could use anything else.

I understand the labor on love, but I have 3 vehicles to maintain, plus a house, family, yada yada ydada. Our cars both looked very good, but one in the sun and one in the shade didn't make it easy to compare.

I stand behind Zaino though. I have only two coats of Z2 (last application in the beginning on June) and my car hadn't been washed in 3 weeks prior to comparing. So, I washed it and it needed two passes of Z6. I'd say Zaino is doing its job if two coats looks like 20 of Meguiers. I won't have the time to get more than two more this year on as other vehicles need attention.

Red,

I don't have winter tires for the SVT so it doesn't get driven in the snow and salt. But, my other car and my wife's truck do and all I do with them is take it to the touchless car wash every week or two. Just make sure to ge the undercarriage spray.

Well, if you think ZYMOL worked good, try this. Take the Zymol, multiply the depth by 50 and the shine by 100 and then what do you have? ZAINO!!! And, the Z6 makes Zymol smell like JVT's armpits after a hot night at the local titty bar eek eek

And that is a good thing?

Look at some of our pics, the depth in the paint appears so much more with the Zaino. Yes, with enough work the Zymol and Meguiars will come close, but if you could work only 20 hours a week and get the same pay as 40 hours, wouldn't you?

Someone a while ago made the best analogy I have read concerning Zaino (sorry I forgot who). He said that it is like switching from Cassettes to CDs. Yes it is the same thing you are listening to on both formats, but the CD is sooooo much more clear and crisp sounding.

My SVT has never had anything except Zaino, and probably never will. If you switch good, if you don't thats good too, this is just our opinions.
