Read about throttle body spacers in a magazine and saw some at Performance Improvements today, but they're $200. Just wondering if they're worth it? I read in thee mag that they work best with a high flow filter, which I have,so what kind of gains would I expect by adding one? $200 is a lot of money for a friggin hunk of aluminum.

what would be the point? there would be more restriction on the air comming in and the throttle cables would have to be adjusted

I dunno, they looked like a universal application. I looked at the box and it didn;t say specifically what models it was for.

I was just wondering about them, because it looks like a gimmick that doesn't do anything and I don't see exactly how it works.

I have seen dyno results on mustangs and such. With that said its been hashed over on the boards and concenses was it wouldnt make any noticible gains.
