You'll always be wrong when it comes to a woman. It's hard to accept, but it's the way of the world. [/newly adopted philosophy]

ain't that the truth. a friend and i were grabing some lunch, as usual, right after i learned i had acid reflux. i ordered my cheeseburger the way i wanted, the way i shouldn't have it. she says:no you don't me:like hell i don't she: *proceeds to correct my order to the waitress* me:i'm an adult, i make my own decisions, you're not my woman and we are not sleeping together so you sure as hell aren't gonna tell me what i can and cannot eat. me: *to the waitress* make it the way i said sure enough, when i got my order it was prepared exactly the way she told the waitress to make it.

Why try to understand them? They are beautiful "creatures", don't take that out of context, but I learned that they should be loved and respected. Treat them this way & they'll try to "understand" you instead.

Says a guy who's obviously not married!
I don't think women try to understand us ... they just 'accept' all of our little 'quirks'. If they really tried to understand us would they ever really say about the big match ...
'It's just a game, honey'
... usually after they just recorded over the video you haven't watched.
Would they really say "It's just a car! It's not even nice, why don't you get an auto Taurus instead?"
Seriously though ... there's truth in both previous points. However you will usually find that us men back down on principles for our women ... not because they are right (that's what they think) ... but because we LOVE them

Really alot of times women do try to understand men we are just two totally different animals in our thought processes, they are as confused w/ us as we are w/ them! Please if you back down every time just b/c you love her, you'll never learn anything about each other, but I see your point.

There are some things you can't learn ... like instant disagreement! You know what I mean, those days when you say 'look at the nice blue sky' and she says 'it's not blue, it's aqua!'
There are also some things that most women just can't understand, generally sports is one of them. Being a Brit I watch soccer, and I can tell you in all my life I have only ever met one woman who understood the off-side rule ... which is a pinacle of the game. Simply just doesn't happen really.

You're not trying to learn every little detail, & its not easy/perfect staying in any relationship! All women are somewhat different, different things upset them or make them happy, all you can do is wake up & hope for the best. Some days she might just want to argue, why, I don't know! The point is that all I want is one to try, talk back to me, let me know when I piss her off, or make her happy. You're reactions to what she does or says will have alot to do w/ what happens next!

Have you ever met a woman, or did you get this from a book?
I'm kidding, sort of.
Marriage is hard work, I agree, but worth the struggle for sure.

Yeah, I'm asking where in the world did he get it too? Your statement reads like a woman doesn't control a thing she does, and that is COMPLETELY wrong...
And yes, marriage is VERY hard work, but if work is put into it, it can be VERY rewarding!!
