Are you claiming before IMRC Torque numbers? (below 4000 rpm) Many people do not claim that because it's a false indication of the true powerband.
This is what I'm claiming:

I love the torque and would hate to loose it by opening up the exhaust. I wish I understood the relationship between torque and HP better
