I would have to say just as my own personal opinion.... I wouldnt do it. If I drill holes or bondo something to my car, it is going to have to function as well as look good. If you mount the scoop in the center, it may look ok, but the only function it will have is to shave a few degrees off the intake manifold temp. For you to notice any real performance increase, the scoop would have to be mounted on the side to push air into an open air filtration system, which would function well but would probably make the car look unbalanced..... unless you went with one scoop on each side. But it is your car... if you think it would look good, then go with it.... this is just my .02 cents worth.
