ok... so my CAT is clogged... its going to cost 700 to fix... apparently it is the cause of my problems? the hoses or sensors attached to it broke free and sprayed hot exhaust all over my engine bay, causing my vaccume line to melt, causing my breaks not to work EEK! The mechanic said a new one costs 600 + 100 labor. i need some opinions on what to do! eek! i saw a high flow cat in the classifieds for 100 but i have a zetec and the cat is a 1 into 2 configuration... should i just buy that one and go dual exhaust (stock svt exhaust?)

or get the high flow 1 into 2 and re-route it into 1? im so confused my head hurts!
