How are you going to get the engine to run on an engine only dyno???  You would have to pull the engine harness, fan harness, dash harnesses, PATS harness, PATS boxes, PATS antenae, PCM, okay I think I'll stop there... IN THE CAR! Period.

The chassis dyno held up fine to my 410 foot pounds of tq, which im sure it minimal compared to the heavily modded C5's they dyno there.
It would be cool though to see what the drivetrain losses would be though.

I thought it was possible to disable the pats. Not sure if a chip can do that.
You would need a tuner on hand. One with a chip buner, or one that can diretly flash the pcm, not needing the obd2 port.

the shop said something about a stand alone engine management device. its just more money.

no it had to do with TH. Obviously he opened his mouth. Theres things that he did, that i did not think were right but i did not go off telling other people about them.
