WTF would they need to pull the motor.. for what reason? If the engine blows up? You just might blow the motor exerting nearly no resistance on the motor tuning it this way. Engine only dyno's are only good for complete engine rebuilds with MASSIVE amounts of torque/power and where little efficiency is lost between the motor, transaxle and wheels (read NOT the contour--F1, HUGE V8's, etc, etc). A What are you wanting to achieve with an Engine dyno? I dynoed the VR6 motor out of my Jetta to get 219hp/221 torque... but that meant [censored] to the ground (197hp/201 torque). Standalone engine dynotuning will be a waste of your time and money. Get teh engine in the car, and go to a reputable place to dyno tune THE CAR WITH THE ENGINE, not just the engine!
