You're right. Definitely a Ford Elite. My mom had a 1975 model(can't tell exactly what year the yellow one above is---1974 models have "Gran Torino Elite" badging, 1975 models dropped the "Gran Torino" part and have just the "Elite" badge, and final year 1976 models have a half-vinyl roof). Opera windows rule!
