Well, it is not really as easy as you say it is. Let's not sugarcoat it. Post the pictures and let him decide if he should do it or send it in. He knows what the indie or dealer should do (if he sends it in), so he is probably way ahead of the game than most other people, who don't post on this site. 18 months ago when I had mine changed at an indie, he was cursing and swearing the entire time (but then again, maybe he was cursing and swearing at me for watching him do it).
