I don't think you will be disappointed in the falkens. So far I am happy. Seems other CEGs in the tire section like them too. 225 will fit no problem I think the falkens run on the narrow side anyways. The 215s I have are about the same width as the 205 65 15s and no where near the width of my 225 50 16s. The 225s fit on both my cars with no rubbing. In all my reading I never remember anyone saying that 225s rub with stock suspension or even most aftermarket.

discounttiredirect.com has the falkens in 225/45/ZR17 for $425 shipped including road hazard so i'm going to go to TFT to see if they can match that. i'll let you know how it goes but man....$70/tire mounted, balanced, and warranty. that's pretty freakin good

ok, just got back from TFT and they said that they'd match the price from discount tire plus it's free tax day this saturday so no tax as well only thing i'm hesitant about is how well the falkens hold up in snow. anyone know?

don't bother, save up and get some snow tires, you will not be sorry

yes it is alittle pricey up front but it would be more costly to smack your car up, plus your summer tires will last longer and you get good performance year round with out much compromise

if you don't have an SVT, I believe zgendron is selling a set of 14's with snow tires on them.
