The Lightning in the video is routinely open tracked, IIRC, and runs mid-low 12s. Watch the GT pull away from it like its a Supercharged ATX Zetect (sorry hector
). Note, the Lightning only hangs with the GT because the GT is taking it easy. Again, as Stazi noted, listen to the lack of blower whine you hear throughout the video. No blower whine = no acceleration. They do slow down to let the MSP pass. Because the MSP was catching them. Most likely seeing how the guy driving the GT seems to be getting to know the car, and the GT & Lightning are 'playing' with each other if you will.
