If someone goes past you at 30mph faster, it's not like you can get the WARP-SPEED button and get on him instanlty. Are you really that gullible/clueless?
I bet that MSP driver would love you to be in his fan club cos you seem to think his car is the fastest thing in the world.

Like ANY MSP could pull on a frikken GT down a straight - that's funking redonkulous! Some people on here have no clue. the GT is like the 3rd or 4th fastest production vehicles in the world!
The MSP passing those two guys was the equivalent of a ricer "fly-by".
I am not denying that they let the MSP past. I am just saying that the MSP is not a POS. Also a production vehicle is far different than a modded vehicle and that MSP is not stock.
I also disagree with the ricer "fly-by" comment. He would not have been waved by if he was not keeping up with them during the turns.

Any MSP is not a POS and that MSP has a good bit of work done to it.
Yes, granted that MSP may be quick, but thats a Ford GT.
i would have definitely agreed with this statement until i caught an episode of Top Gear last week in which a built Evo easily kept up with a murcielago on a track, and then passed it. i dont know anything about this msp but it is possible that the car is seriously built and could beat a stock supercar. at least i think it is..
especially if youre talking about someone who has tons of time in their own car when going against someone who is new to their vehicle, like Rara said this guy apparently was.

I love how people who wern't there, watch a video and decide they are the expert on what happened at the track that day.

Good point(s). I remember that Top Gear bit...Clarkson really birddogged that Lambo, and the guy driving it wasn't just some joe off the street.
Of course, the off-boost acceleration bit with the Evo going up against a generic family compact was pretty funny.
So, a Mazdaspeed being flogged by its owner would probably do a decent job of running from a guy playing around in a loaner GT, I think we can agree on that.
"Think of it, if you like, as a librarian with a G-string under the tweed." Clarkson on the Mondeo.

I don't think it's the fastest car in the world, but when one of the fastest cars in the world... 3rd or 4th fastest production car according to you... can't catch it after a "ricer flyby"... you have to give the car some credit, i'm not arguing with you, i'm just stating my opinion or is that not allowed in "Stazi-land". Because here in the "real-world" people often tend to have differences in opinions and that does not always mean one person is correct and the other is gullible/clueless.

It's like if I was putzing down the freeway on my Ninja and some dude on scooter goes past me - now all of a sudden "That scooter is OMG damn fast did you see if whip on that Ninja? Holy crap dudes - awesome!" GT being taken around the track at a less-than-balls-out pace....slows down, lets an MSP pass = MSP is the bomb digity cos it "whooped" on a GT. Pleeeeaasssseee!

No dufus. I'm just being realistic.
sure - that MSP IS probably a quick car. But people on here are acting like it's a "GT killer" - which I bet it aint, given the GT was NOT driven to it's extremes/capabilities.

it's obvious that MSP had the 500+hp required to stay well ahead of that GT, right?
ha....
hahahahaha......
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wtf is wrong with you people????
MSP is a nice little car. 500+ hp roadrace MSP is exceptionally unlikely.
