never-ending battle between the two...people have both. Better? I'm not sure. A few people that do have auminum put some sort of an insulator in it so it doesn't "bake" the filter. I say "bake" because some of the plastic guys say this happens...part of the arguement between the two. Personally, I had a plastic one, but I'm now making an aluminum one for visual reasons. Then I'll compare the 2 temp wise and see if one outperforms the other. (I assume they will be pretty close.
