Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General General Has anyone switched from Mobil1 to conventional oil?

I guess I don't necessarily change the oil every 2,500 miles. It varies between that and 3,500. Living in Wisconsin, I store my SVT in the winter, so I only use it from mid-April until mid-November. In that time I put on around 5,000 - 7,000 miles. I change the oil twice: right when I take it out, and once mid-summer.

I probably will keep using Mobil1, but I'm just worried that it might cause some problems. The price of Mobil1 doesn't really matter to me.
