While messing with my lights a while back, I noticed where the lights twist into the housing, that part can be removed. this leaves a larger hole maybe two inches in diameter. My question is, could you put standard round headlamps into the housings? of course you would have to cut a matching hole through the reflecting part of the housing. I've been thinking about this for a while now but don't have the funds to risk it. Also, if this works, would the lights be aimable? please help with this. Thanks -Al

You must have been thinking about how funny you are while looking for a picture of a light bulb on yahoo images. I'm talking about the round headlamps you can get at autozone and the likes. By "Standard" I meant not HID

I thought about actually adding a second 9005 blueish bulb and just having it in there to add brightness. Ever think of that?
It might need a custom shield guard, but:
2 9005 bulbs = bright!

Regular round bulbs? Are you talking about projectors? I don't know of any "round bulbs".

not bulbs but say a jeep headlight (Just an example). it's round and covered by a plastic lense. Would it be possible to fit that into the housing of the contour headlight with modification?
