I used to have a 66 Convertible 289. Those suck on highways. At 65 the top started to lift up off the latches and gave me horrible drag. Coupes and fastbacks are much better.
With all the free stuff I got with this, a 302 with a mild cam, aluminum high rise, holley 4bbl carb, aluminum pistons, and hooker headers should give me a nice base of horsepower. Any opinions on the R-Valence they make for these mustangs? I think they look good with a street apron and the stock bumper.
