Ah yeah,starting out with the drivetrain is a really good idea. make everything stronger first,like the axles and you'll even notice improvement on a stock engine with an upgraded clutch/flywheel and a short shifter. LSD's are definetly good too. Pricey,but well worth it. Once all that is beefed up and installed then you can start putting the power down and not have to worry so much about burnout out your clutch or snapping axles etc. Might also want to do brakes and suspension too,after the drivetrain,make it handle and stop better before putting the real power down.

I really wish I had a second vehicle because it would make modding my car so much easier because that way I don't have to be rushed when doing things to it. Like if I'm doing something with my lights,I need it to be done before dark so I can install them and then drive at night. You probably know the feeling.

i live in Iowa...but the car was originally purchased in MN....i replaced a 2001 ford focus zx3 atx (heavily modded) with this contour...i think i did alright...
