the issue of using other soap is so that for people who have spent the time to wax their car by hand, using the soap or similar soap that accompanies that wax keeps for a better finish, as it has been said over and over again that the formula of soap in the auto dry strips top coats of wax therefore making waxing efforts null and void unless you want to wax your car completely EVERYTIME you wash it.....
