1. What's wrong with Sony?

2. Go for a Kenwood Excelon model. Very top of the line, and very good for the price...The Kenwood catalog is out on their website...

Pioneer makes some nice units that will look at home in your Camaro.

The DEH-P77DH has a MSRP of $335.

i think this one is kinda growing on me.....

there is the next step up from this one that looks better and is all black.... but its almost $100 more.

this one i guess has some good skip protection... and with both units... you can put an SD flash card in to play music from.. and also put new backgrounds and or movies on the 256 color disply. Seems kinda interesting.

If you like those than go with 'em. Bob Johan (SoundQSVT) competes using a JVC head unit.

I dont know how useful skip protection will be in a car, especially a Camaro since you're not going to be going off-road in it.

I've always avoided JVC products like the plague because I've been told they are made cheap, and they always look it. From what I've heard, they just don't seem to sound that great either. Sony would be a better bet. Of course, Alpine is the best all around for car audio.
