im not a huge fan of nascar. Too me thers not much skill in going in an oval 500 times. Id much rather watch a road course. But than again, i dont find racing that much appealing anyway......

What other "event" put the lives of 40+ other competitors in the hands of one person? You guys seem to take the fact that these guys put their lives in the hands of others every weekend. If it doesnt have fenders a tube chassis and pushrods they dont want to hear about it. And we all know there are MILLIONS of nascar fans in the good old US. Anyways, im sure he will do well. as long as they give him a fast car he will win races. and he will make alot of money. Most people that are in champ car that are in it cause they love open wheel racing aspire to step up to f1, not take a step down in the evolutionary racing scene. thats just my 2 pennies.

I love it when people say "oh, driving around in circles 500 times is not a sport or takes talent".........well buddy, if you think they don't have talent, then why are they making MORE money in a weekend than you'll probably see in your LIFE driving around in circles?
