Personally, I think he saw all the other great road racers; such as Boris Said and Ron Fellows come into NASCAR and not do so great,

Boris and Ron are hardly contemporaries of Paul--except that Ron is also Canadian. Boris made his name as a touring car and Trans-Am racer; Ron first in Trans-Am then at Le Mans in the Corvette. Christian Fittipaldi would be a better comparison because he at least spent time in an open-wheel car.

I can't believe you would think Boris has done poorly. This season he's started five races with an average finish of 25th, completed 95% of the laps runs, and was very competitive at Daytona after starting 4th. These results are much better than such from 20 other drivers.

I will say though that I look forward to seeing Tracy battle it out with other Cup drivers. Not so much to see how he fars. I think he will do well, since he is with RCR. But more over to see a Champ Car Champ battle with an IRL (INDY, Tony Stewart) champ.

When was the last time Tony had his arse in an IRL car much less for a full season? Tony is a Cup veteran and champion with tens of thousands of miles of experience and you're wanting to a competitive comparison with a guy who has slid through the window of a stock car a dozen times, at most! A bit optimistic aren't we?

Please back away from the Hooked on Phonics. It is "Hendrick" as in Hendrick Motorsports. I'm surprised a NASCAR "fan" such as yourself didn't know that.
