Was anyone else shocked when hearing about this?
I'm only wondering, because he is a great driver that I have watched for several years. He ruled last year and seemed almost flawless! It seemed as though he wanted a new challange, even last year.
Personally, I think he saw all the other great road racers; such as Boris Said and Ron Fellows come into NASCAR and not do so great, this year, and thought he could do better. But I was proved wrong when I read
this on NASCAR.com. Seems as though RCR and Tracy have been talking for several years now... so, to me, that puts a whole new spin on my perspective. Spin, as in right down the tubes.
I will say though that I look forward to seeing Tracy battle it out with other Cup drivers. Not so much to see how he fars. I think he will do well, since he is with RCR. But more over to see a Champ Car Champ battle with an IRL (INDY, Tony Stewart) champ.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this or is it just me?
