If you can't find anyone to do your trans swap I can do it for you.
I've done alot of swaps, repairs and rebuild on just about any kind of car over the years. Changed engines alone at least a dozen times. For example, rebuilt the engine of my '85 Porsche 928 after the previous owner broke the timing belt. Just finished building and installing a supercharger for it. All the bracketry and plumbing was built by me. She's roughly putting 400-410hp to the wheels. Put myself through college with buying-fixing-selling cars. I mostly work on my own cars, but if you are in a pinch I can help you out.
Changing the tranmission on Contour/Mystique is essentially the same process as most of the front wheel drive cars. 2 evenings (or one Saturday)would be enough time to do it. I have all the tools, including an air compressor and air guns, needed for this swap.
