I won't be able to make it today, but I will be able to make it tomorrow.

Good times! For those who don't browse Pics and Vids, I took a few pictures of inconsequential Contour features/details here.
Figures I didn't get any "real" pics of the meet, except for one with Brapple and his open engine bay. I might get some tomorrow when I go back again, and then host all.
I'll be bringing a shiny red Miata tomorrow, rather than a dirty overheating Contour.

as aways great fun, both Jess and I enjoyed ourselves thanks to Skunk for providing an alternative to FFW for those of us that still wanted to have a meet this weekend. skunk Jess thanks you for everyhting this weekend and for bringing Toby along Ray thanks for letting me drive your car, I hope the 2nd gear issue isn't that bad and it is just something like the cable not in the trans itself. and for those asking there was a question if he had a normal 2.5L swapped in because the valve covers were not black, well we decided it was painted with the covers on the car. But to make sure seeing as I have somewhat similar performance to a SVt and know my car looses power over 5k I took the car for a spin, all I can say is I didn't realize a SVT had that much difference up top

Thanks to those who came. Its was a great time. very nice meeting first timers and matt and his girlfriend from ny. It was very relaxing. Let's see we started about noon on saturday, ate plenty of food, went swimming in the pool(finally got out around midnight )and finished up around 6pm sunday. Now that's a ceg cookout! Also thanks too Matt for helping me clean up. We wound up having 11 cegers at the cookout at some point during the 2 days. 6 spent the night. everyone had a good time and that's what it's all about. Maybe we can make this an annual summerbash event..something to think about.

Where are the pictures? I think Matt and Patti (from NY) are totally wiped out today. IIRC, they left my house around 10:30/11 PM to head home, a four and a half hour drive. We never did get his conversion done or the PCV valve changed. It took what seemed like forever to get the rotors off the fronts. (what a surprise ) The temp. sending unit got done though. Poor Patti, she fell asleep in my pool while floating in the lounge chair. Evidently they had a great time at the party!
